Over a twelve month period I went on three adventures. First, in the spring of 2024 I bike packed from Bobcaygeon to Halifax, there is an account of this in an earlier post. Then in July and August I walked around seven of the Azores islands. The scenery and whole experience exceeded my expectations, it’s a magical place that I could easily return to. Finally, I walked just about a thousand miles in February and March on the Camino. I flew to Lisbon sauntered to Santiago, then took the bus to Roncesvalles hiked across the Pyrenees to St. Jean pied de Port, walked back the next day and continued on to Santiago. My only disappointment was that so many had ear buds in or clued to phone screens and the random friendly chat of earlier years was no more. These adventurers will be the juice for more stories.
